Well, its only been more than a whole week since I blogged! I am bad at this. I hope Im not the only one who was less than routine in the beginning blog days... Let me update you as to what has been going on since my last update. The kittens are doing so great, they listen well and are so amazing to watch grow up together as siblings! Flip Flop, our bunny has started showing us that he is definitely growing up and we need to get him fixed fast! In the last week, we have had to save our dear baby Piper from Flip Flop's wrath of "humping"... I didnt think I would actually type that in, but I decided, "oh what the hay"! Yes, he is full on trying to get her and she lies there and cries in a baby kitten voice... So, its seems as if we have to make that appointment to the vet sooner than later for sure!
About two weeks ago, I started feeling baby movement!!! YAY! It definitely isnt constant and it isnt much yet. It feels sort of like butterflies flying around on one side, or popcorn popping... I didnt realize the first few times it happened that it was the baby, until I read in my book what it was supposed to feel like. Once I realized it, I started talking to it when it moved. Last week, I rubbed right at the spot where the "popcorn was popping" and it stopped! Then, I stopped rubbing and it started up again! It really feels like a tiny tiny kick, like kick kick kick over and over, until I start to rub it of course... I thought this was just too adorable! I was so excited! Its hard to explain how it feels and I cant wait to feel it move and kick even more. This only happens every day or so, sometimes more... So, Im looking forward to the coming months!
11 days until we find out whether its a boy or a girl! Woohoo! Finally, we get to start decorating. Lets just hope he/she is sitting in a good position!!!
My birthday was the 19th of August and Zack took me and Nathan and my mom came too, to the Safari Park at Natural Bridge. We have been several times before, but this time it started raining half way through, which made for some great wet soggy animals sticking their heads in the windows... They still wanted the food!!! It was way too funny!
This past weekend was Zack's birthday, so we celebrated with Ryan and Jamie in Blacksburg on Saturday night. We went up there and ate at Outback... we love spending time with them, they are too funny and we always have SOMETHING to talk about!!! LOL!
Sunday was his actual birthday, so he wanted to sit at home all day and relax basically, so I went to church anyway, and graduated my pre-K class... or at least the ones moving to kindergarten... man, oh man, am I sad to see those 5 go to the bigger class! Pastor Tommy also announced my pregnancy to the entire congregation, so that was neat... even though Zack wasnt there to hear, oops! He didnt mind, he was at home chillaxin by the pool...
Well, I WILL be better at this! I need to keep up with our lives so much better than what I am! It seems like just yesterday we got married and then it seems like just yesterday we found out we were pregnant... NOW, we are 4 months and a week in, with only 4 months and 3 weeks left, and the baby will be here! How crazy is that! I know I will look back and want to remember what all we did with our lives not only before the baby gets here, but while I was pregnant and how wonderful it was once the little one arrives! Thank goodness for pictures, because the last 6 years of Zack and I's lives have been captured and stuck on hard drive... I really need to make time to make another scrap book...
I so love this verse:
Matthew 17:6 He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you".
Isnt this the best verse? Faith is what gets me through every day! If I didnt have Jesus, I would be nothing. I pray that God will open more doors for me to witness my faith and my testimony of how God can make your life wonderful if you let him!!! Amen!
Til next time...
